In the Flow with Affion Crockett was a sketch comedy television series starring Affion Crockett and produced by Jamie Foxx, MADtv co-creators Fax Bahr and Adam Small, Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz and Two and a Half Men's Eric and Kim Tannenbaum.[2]

Taped in the middle of 2010, it was picked up as a mid-season replacement by Fox in September 2010, under the name "Untitled Jamie Foxx Project".[2] A premiere was announced for June 9, 2011, and then moved to August.[2] It debuted in an hour-long premiere on August 14, 2011, with four half-hour episodes to air on following weeks.[2] The show was cancelled due to low ratings after airing six episodes.

Premise

Affion Crockett (known for his role on Wild 'n Out) got his own sketch comedy show on FOX. As he brings it to primetime as he uses his impressions, rapping, comedic skills to make this show "in the Flow"

Affion impersonates Jay-Z at the beginning of the series premiere, Affion then impersonstates Tiger Woods at a golf course in a sketch, and an American Idol sketch with Affion impersonstating Chris Rock and Drake. With other sketches like Wake Up Call. Samuel Jackson guest stars. Affion also does a sketch that he originally did on the Internet "Hustles with the Russell's" as also Russell Simmons guest stars.

Snoop Dogg guest stars in an Avatar spoof sketch involving marijuana. And the episode opens with Affion breakdancing with some kids. Affion then does a sketch about a spoof of skinny jeans called "Skinny Paint".

Affion does a tribute of Michael Jackson bydressing like him and dancing, but then Chris Brown makes a surprise appearance as he is dressed like Michael too, as Affion challenges Chris to a "Michael-Off" and Chris wins.

Affion impersonstates Joe Jackson as he says he is selling products in tribute for Michael Jackson by making calling a fictional tour called "This is It for Sure Tour". Affion then does a sketch involving a church pastor/gospel singer promoting his album at a funeral, then switches to a sketch called "Bertha Control". Affion then tells people about his cousin, Cornbread Crockett as he annoys celebrities and meets Michael Strahan at a gym. Then switches to a game show sketch called "Put That on Something". It then goes to Part II of Cornbread meeting Michael again at a basketball court. Affion then ends the show with a spoof of the "I Am Legend" sequel trailer.

Affion introduces Harry Shum from Glee as he thinks he should audition for Glee, as Affion shows some if his moves as Harry thinks they should do some country line dancing then Lil' C appears and dances with them after he judges how Affion dances Affion also impersonates Russell Simmons in the sketch "Hustle with the Russells".

The series finale opens with Affion impersonstating Chris Rock. And other sketches about a light-skinned teenager in a skit called "Hilight: The Yellow Moon" (a parody of Twilight).
