Imelda is one of the 44 barangays of the municipality of Ubay, in the province of Bohol, Philippines.

The barangay's total land area is 657 hectares (1,620 acres).[3] According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 1,761. In the 2013 election, it had 1,061 registered voters, meaning that 60% of the population are aged 18 and over.[2]

Imelda is divided into two – northern Imelda celebrates its annual fiesta on 8 May, while southern Imelda celebrates on 27 November, in honor of their patron saints.

Location

In the central part of the municipality, Imelda is bounded to the north by Calanggaman, Bood, Tipolo, Union, and Sinandigan; to the east by Benliw and San Vicente; to the south by Lomangog and to the west by Pag-asa, Bay-ang, and Calanggaman. It is 5 km (3.1 mi) from the town center, Poblacion.
