Illorai is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) north of Cagliari and about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southeast of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,053 and an area of 56.9 square kilometres (22.0 sq mi).[1]
Illorai borders the following municipalities: Bolotana, Bonorva, Bottidda, Burgos, Esporlatu, Orani, Orotelli.
