Illinois Township is one of nineteen current townships in Pope County, Arkansas, USA.[1] As of the 2000 census, its total population was 25,841, with 87 percent (approx. 22,482 people) contained in urban Russellville.[1]

According to the United States Census Bureau, Illinois Township covers an area of 54.4 square miles (141 km2), with 47.8 square miles (124 km2) of it land and 6.6 square miles (17 km2) of water.
