ilir Hoti (born in 1957) was the governor of the Bank of Albania from May 1992 until September 1993 and from 2012 is Dean of Faculty of Business, Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës.
He graduated at the Faculty of Economy and Agribusiness, Agricultural University of Tirana. Hoti is associate professor. He is fluent in English and Italian.[1]
Arsidi scandal
Hoti was arrested in 1993 together with former Prime Minister Vilson Ahmeti for scandal "Arsidi", but he was subsequently released by the Court of Tirana.[2]
