Ile District (Kazakh: Іле ауданы) is a district of Almaty Region in Kazakhstan. The district is named for the Ili River ("Ile" in Kazakh). Its administrative center is the settlement of Otegen Batyr.[2] Population: 191,897 (2013 estimate);[1] 170,695 (2009 Census results);[3] 120,725 (1999 Census results).[3]
