Ibillo

Ibillo is a small village situated in the Akoko Edo Local Government area in Edo State in Nigeria. Edo state has a total number of 18 local government areas including Ibillo. Ibillo is surrounded by several neighboring villages which are called: Ikiran Oke, Imoga, Ekpesa, Lampese etc., which demarcates Edo state and Kogi state. Those neighboring villages operate under the local government having its headquarter at Igarra, the local government capital Edo State. Ibillo belongs to an association called Okpameri which means "we are one!" this association include other villages in the local government. Ibillo has a king and presently the local government chairman whose office is at Igarra lives in Ibillo. The population of Ibillo is made up of several cultures and ethnic groups and speak different languages. Member villages of Okpameri speak similar languages.
