ISO 1629
ISO 1629:1995 - Rubber Test Standard
It is an ISO standard. International Organization for Standardization, (ISO) in short has created over 18000 International Standards on a wide range of subjects and approximately 1100 new ISO standards are developed and published each year.
ISO 1629:1995 helps in classification and designation of Basic or Crude Rubber in both dry and Latex forms under a series of symbols or signs based on the Chemical composition of the Polymer chain". This Standardization becomes useful across Industry and Commerce thereby avoiding conflict in existing Trademarks and names.
