The IP Federation (formerly the "Trade Marks, Patents and Designs Federation" or TMPDF) is a United Kingdom industry intellectual property trade association. It was founded in 1920[2] as an industry organization that provides input representing its members' interests in the United Kingdom and international intellectual property rule-making process.[3]
The company started using its new name, i.e. the "IP Federation", in January 2009.[4] The change of name took official effect at Companies House, the United Kingdom registrar of companies, on 4 July 2014.[5]
