The IEEE Leon K. Kirchmayer Graduate Teaching Award, which was initially called the IEEE Graduate Teaching Award, is a Technical Field Award of the IEEE that has been presented annually since 1992 to an individual by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) "for inspirational teaching of graduate students in the IEEE fields of interest". The award was established in 1990 by the Board of Directors of the IEEE and was renamed in 2002 to honor Leon K. Kirchmayer for his dedication to "students and education".[1]

Recipients of this award receive a bronze medal, a certificate, and an honorarium.[1]
