ICT Roller Girls
The ICT Roller Girls (ICTRG) is a roller derby league based in Wichita, Kansas. Founded in 2006, the ICT Roller Girls became the first women's roller derby team in Kansas. By 2008, the league had more than forty skaters.[1]
The ICT Roller Girls were accepted into the Women's Flat Track Derby Association Apprentice program in October 2009,[2] and became a full member in June 2010,[3] the first league from Kansas to be accepted.[4] WFTDA is the international governing body of women’s flat track roller derby. This organization provides guidance, regulations, sisterhood, and the opportunity to compete with the best roller derby athletes in the country. WFTDA promotes and fosters the sport of women’s flat track roller derby by facilitating the development of athletic ability, sportswomanship, and goodwill among member leagues.
