Hyperolius balfouri is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family. It is found in Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Uganda, possibly Chad, and possibly Nigeria. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
