Hurstbridge railway station is the terminus of the Hurstbridge line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the north-eastern Melbourne suburb of Hurstbridge opening as Hurst's Bridge on 25 June 1912 being renamed Hurstbridge on 9 December 1912.[2]
Shortly before 2 a.m. on Wednesday 11th November 2015, X'Trapolis train 927M-1664T-928M was derailed following an unauthorised movement from the yard, resulting in several collisions with various infrastructure and another train. [3]
Comeng 315M was destroyed by at Hurstbridge on April 9, 1983.[4] Tait 472M was destroyed by fire at Hurstbridge on April 9, 1983.
Platforms & services
Hurstbridge has one platform. It is serviced by Metro Trains' Hurstbridge line services.[5]
