Hunan College of Finance and Economics (simplified Chinese: 湖南财政经济学院; traditional Chinese: 湖南財政經濟學院; pinyin: Húnán Caízhèng Jīngjì Xuéyuàn) is a university located in Yuelu District, Changsha, Hunan, China.[2][3][4][5][6]

As of fall 2013, the university has one campuses, a combined student body of 9,000 students, 470 faculty members.

The university consists of 1 colleges and 7 departments, with 36 specialties for undergraduates. The university covers a total area of 846 mu, with more than 300,000 square meters of floor space.

History

The university was founded in April 1933, it was initially called "Housheng Private Accounting Institute".[7][8]

In February 2010, it renamed "Hunan College of Finance and Economics".[8][9][10]
