Hugh Jefferies

Anthony Hugh Mostyn Jefferies MBE (born May 1948, Berlin)[1] is a British philatelist, the editor of Gibbons Stamp Monthly (GSM) and the Stanley Gibbons catalogue.[2]

Jefferies joined Stanley Gibbons in 1975 and in 1988 became editor of GSM. In 2003 he became the catalogue editor.[2][3] For his services to philately, he was awarded Member of the British Empire (MBE) in 2015.[4][5]

Jefferies is a trustee of the Bath Postal Museum,[6] a Fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society London and a member of the Ferndown & West Moors Philatelic & Postcard Club.
