OCT Station (Chinese: 华侨城站), also referred to as Overseas Chinese Town Station in English, and formerly known as Huaqiaocheng Station, is a station on Line 1 (Luobao) of the Shenzhen Metro. It started operations on 28 December 2004. It is located underground at Shennan Dadao (Chinese: 深南大道), near Shenzhen Bay Hotel (Chinese: 深圳湾大酒店),[1] in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China. The station is named after Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) (Chinese: 华侨城).[2] It is also located close to Splendid China (Chinese: 锦绣中华) and China Folk Culture Village (Chinese: 民族文化村).[3]
