Huangshui River
Huangshui River (Chinese: 湟水河) is a river of Qinghai, China. The largest tributary of the Yellow River, it has a total length of 374 kilometres (232 mi), and a basin area of 3,200 square kilometres (1,200 sq mi).[1]
The Huangshui river basin is an important for agriculture. Various Neolithic and Bronze Age civilisations were present in the area. (See Majiayao culture, Qijia culture, Xindian culture and Kayue culture.)
