Hridith Sudev

Hridith Sudev is a child environmentalist and a student in Indian School Salalah in Salalah, Oman.[1] He founded Oman's largest kid's eco-organization, Project Green Oman.[2] In 2012, Hridith Sudev and his younger brother Samved Shaji, both students of Indian School Salalah, founded Project Green Oman under the school eco-club and Social science department.[3] The duo's project won the award for the best project initiated for promoting eco-friendliness in Oman for the 2012 World Environment Day Global School Contest conducted by the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development.[4] On June 5, 2014, International Energy Globe Awards, Austria (equated to the Nobel Prize) declared Project GreenOman as Oman's best project for sustainability.[5][6] Hridith Sudev by the virtue of being founder of Project Green Oman was selected to receive the Award often dubbed and regarded as 'Nature's Nobel Prize'.
In January 2015, Hridith Sudev was selected from 3,000 students to be among 34 select NRI Indian students representing five different GCC Nations to take part in the Indian Republic Day Parade presided over by Hon'ble Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Chief Guest, the Hon'ble American President Barack Obama in New Delhi , India as part of Asianet News Channel's Proud to Be Indian Campaign 2015 [7]
Personal life
Hridith Sudev was born on 27 December 1999 to Dr.Shaji P Sreedhar and Hridhya S Menon. Samved Shaji is his younger brother.[8] They both go to Indian School Salalah.[4][7]
