Hothouse (audio drama)

Hothouse is an audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. This audio drama was produced by Big Finish Productions.

Plot

After being away for a lifetime, the Doctor finally returns to Earth. What he finds is a world on the brink of ecological collapse. Alex Marlowe, former rock musician turned wealthy eco-warrior, thinks nature should fight back. And he knows just the plant to do it.

Continuity

• The Krynoids were defeated by the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith in The Seeds of Doom. Many elements from that story are used here.

• UNIT's special "telephone" line to the Doctor was used in Terror of the Zygons.
