KIX Country
KIX Country is a radio network broadcasting in various towns across Australia. Its target demographic is all people who love country music. Hot Country Radio is part of Grant Broadcasters. It is transmitted primarily via narrowcast stations of varying power. All bar three stations operate on the FM band.
The network is programmed out of Bundaberg, Queensland with various staff around Australia contributing towards the network. Program Direction comes out of Sydney, New South Wales whilst all online work is based in Darwin, Northern Territory. Technical and engineering support is provided by affiliated local commercial radio stations in or near the broadcast area of the Hot Country footprint. These staff consist primarily of employees of Grant Broadcasters and the Capital Radio Network.
In April 2015, the Hot Country and Top Country branding was replaced by KIX, already used on stations in Queensland and South Australia.[1][2][3]
