Holli Woodings (born in Medford, Oregon) served a single term as a Democratic Idaho State Representative representing the north Boise-based District 19B.[1] She was the 2014 Democratic nominee for Idaho Secretary of State.
Education
Woodings graduated from Boise State University with a BA in English.[2]
Elections
- 2012 When Democratic Representative Brian Cronin retired and left the 19B seat open, Woodings won the three-way May 15, 2012 Democratic Primary with 1,636 votes (56.4%),[3] and won the November 6, 2012 General election with 14,378 votes (65.7%) against Republican nominee Don Howard,[4] who had run unsuccessfully for the 19A seat in 1996.
In 2014 Woodings ran unsuccessfully to succeed Republican Ben Ysursa for Secretary of State of Idaho in the 2014 elections.[5]
