Hobergs (formerly, Hoberg Resort and Hobergs Resort) is an unincorporated community in Lake County, California.[1] It is located 2.25 miles (3.6 km) north-northwest of Whispering Pines,[2] at an elevation of 3015 feet (919 m).[1]
History
Gustave Hoberg founded a resort at the site in 1885.[2] A post office operated at Hobergs from 1929 to 1970.[2]
The resort was destroyed by the Valley Fire in September, 2015. [3]
