Hiten Shah is an American entrepreneur and startup advisor. He is the cofounder and president of the analytics companies KISSmetrics and Crazy Egg.[1][2]
Companies
Shah met his business partner, Neil Patel, through Patel's sister Amee, who Shah was dating at the time. They are now married. At the time, Patel was still in high school and Shah was just graduating college.[3]
In 2002, Shah and Patel founded Advanced Consulting Services (ACS), an online marketing firm.[4] By 2007, the company was implementing strategies for many Fortune 500 companies.[5] In 2006, the business partners founded their second company, Crazy Egg, an analytics software which allows website owners to analyze behavior on their website through "heatmaps" of visitors clicks.[6]
Shah and Patel founded KISSmetrics, an online analytics platform, in 2008.[7] Shah currently acts as President of KISSmetrics.[8][9] KISSmetrics has raised over $4 million in venture capital and currently has over 1,300 paying customers.[10][11]
