Highlandtown, Ohio
Highlandtown is an unincorporated community in Columbiana County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.[1]
History
Highlandtown was originally built up chiefly by settlers of Scottish ancestry.[2] The post office at Highlandtown was called Inverness, there being already another post office of the same name.[3] The Inverness post office was established in 1838, and remained in operation until 1902.[4]
