Hideto Tanihara (谷原 秀人 Tanihara Hideto, born 16 November 1978) is a Japanese professional golfer.
Tanihara was born in Onomichi, Hiroshima, Japan. He has won 11 tournaments on the Japan Golf Tour and featured in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking with his highest ranking coming in December 2007 when he reached 68th. He represented Japan at the 2007 Omega Mission Hills World Cup with Tetsuji Hiratsuka. He is sponsored by ISPS.
On 14 July 2008, it was announced that he and actress Ayaka Nagate had married.
