Heriok is a town and a nagar panchayat in Thoubal district in the Indian state of Manipur.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Heriok had a population of 2445. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Heriok has an average literacy rate of 56%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 68%, and female literacy is 45%. In Heriok, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Politics
Heriok is part of Outer Manipur (Lok Sabha constituency).[2]
