Henry Josué Martín Mex (born November 18, 1992) is a Mexican footballer who plays as a Centre Forward for Tijuana in the Liga MX.[1]

Career

Itzaes

At age 15, Hernry Martin played one season in the Third Division with Itzaes during the Clausura 2008 Season. Henry made 13 league appearances and scored 6 goals.

Merida

Henry Began his profesional career in 2013 with his home town club Mérida. He made his profesional debut with the first team July 19, 2013 against Delfines del Carmen, where he was subbed in for José Luis Pineda in the final seconds of the match.

He scored his first league goal August 24, 2013 against Zacatepec where the match ended 2-0.

After some time in the Mexican Second division Henry was transferred to Tijuana which was a hard decision for Henry considering the miles apart from his family.

Tijuana

Henry transferred to Tijuana for the Apertura 2014 Season. He made his First Division debut with Tijuana against América on July 26, 2014 almost exactly one year after his career debut.

He scored his first goal 3 days later in a cup match against Zacatepec, where Tijuana won 3-1.

After a good Apertura 2015 season with Tijuana Henry received a call up to the National Team.

International career

Mexico

On 30 August 2015 he was called up by interim head coach Ricardo Ferretti to replace the injured Oribe Peralta.

He made his first appearance with Mexico September 4, 2015 in a friendly match against Trinidad and Tobago where he started the game and was subbed out for Raul Jimenez in the 59th minute of the match. Mexico tied the game 3-3.

Personal Life

His older brother, Freddy Martín is also a professional soccer player, who plays as a Centre Forward for Dorados de Sinaloa in the First Division.
