Hellinsia sucrei is a moth of the Pterophoridae family. It is found in Ecuador.

The wingspan is 27 mm. The forewings are pale brown-ochreous and the markings are brown. The hindwings and fringes are pale grey-ochreous. Adults are on wing in January, at an altitude of 3,500 meters.[1]

Etymology

The species is named after Antonio José de Sucre, who was crucial in achieving the freedom of several South American countries.
