Heidi Ewing is a director, producer, and writer of documentary films. She and Rachel Grady founded Loki Films in 2001, and have collaborated on several documentaries together.[1] Detropia won two awards, Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Original Score, at the 2013 Cinema Eye Honors for Nonfiction Filmmaking.[2] She won a 2008 Women of Vision Award.

Life

Ewing is a native of Farmington Hills, Michigan, and is a graduate of Mercy High School[3] and the Georgetown School of Foreign Service.[4]
