Hussein Who Said No (Persian: روز رستاخیز or Persian: رستاخیز translit Rooze Rastakhiz or Ruz-e Rastakhiz or Rastakhiz) is a historical religious Iranian epic film directed by Ahmad Reza Darvish. The story narrates Battle of Karbala on Day of Ashura and tells the uprising of Hussein ibn Ali[6] in 680 CE against Yazid ibn Muawiyah ibn Abu Sufyan.

Darvish's big-budget was financed by a couple of Iranian and non-Iranian film firms as the film’s post-production stage was completed at a British studio. A 3D computer-generated imagery (CGI) technique has been used to create some scenes from the film.[7]
