Hays Field (formerly Chaparral Stadium) is a baseball park located on the campus of Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas. It is the home field of the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals baseball team.
History
Chaparral Stadium was dedicated on April 29, 1978. In 1999, the ballpark was renamed Hays Field to honor the Hays family, including former Chaparals baseball head coach Larry Hays.[1] Hays Field has hosted NAIA regionals in 1987, 1991, and 1999.[2]
