Hayat or Hayet is an Arabic word which means "life".
Arabic: حياة ḥayāh , IPA: [ħæˈjæː, ħaˈjaː, ħæˈjɛː], "life"; ḥayāt , [ħæˈjæːt, ħaˈjaːt, ħæˈjɛːt, ħaˈjeːt], "life of". In some Arabic dialects, the pronunciation ending with /t/ is used for the first meaning.
