Hate Your Friends is the debut album of the American alternative rock band The Lemonheads. The album showcases their early punk roots, and is one of only three albums to feature the full original lineup of Evan Dando, Ben Deily, and Jesse Peretz. Under the original arrangements, as evidenced by the first three tracks of the album, as well tracks 11–20, Peretz played bass guitar while Deily and Dando, the two principal songwriters, switched duties as lead vocalist/lead guitarist and drummer. On tracks 4–10, drums are played by Doug Trachten while Deily and Dando share lead vocal and lead guitar duties.
