Plot summary

This is the story of Rannvijay and his half-sister Veera.

Sampooran Singh lives in the village of Pritampura and is its Sarpanch, with his wife Ratan, 'Chai Ji' or aunt, and their son, Rannvijay. One night, Ratan finds out Sampooran has another daughter with a woman named Amrita. Driven with shame and guilt of cheating on his beloved wife, Sampooran commits suicide. Amrita also passes away during childbirth, leaving her infant daughter on their doorstep. Rannvijay, or Ranvi, is the first one to accept Veera and takes care of her while Ratan is heartbroken and averse to her. The story takes a four-year-leap where Ranvi is shown to be rivals with the neighbours' son Baldev who troubles Veera, and his sister Gunjan. Years pass and it is stated that Veera has been sent to Delhi to pursue further education while Ranvi opts to stay back and work for the village and toward his dream of becoming a singer.

Veera returns home after her studies and fights with Baldev as they did before in her childhood. Slowly, she falls in love with her friend named Karan. At the same time, it is revealed that Ranvi is in love with Gunjan, Baldev's sister. But Gunjan receives a proposal from another boy, which she accepts. Ranvi is heartbroken but nevertheless pretends to be happy. Later, Veera and Ranvi find out that this person physically abused his ex-wife. They stop the wedding, and Gunjan is devastated. Ranvi tries to cheer her up. Meanwhile, electricity problems are being faced by the village and Karan comes up with the idea of putting up a solar panel to which everyone agrees. Veera comes to know that Karan is cheating them because he's going to take the solar panel back and improve his career. Veera is heartbroken but Ranvi comforts her. Ratan takes the proposal of Ranvi to Gunjan but she denies it saying that she wanted to take revenge against Ranvi for breaking her marriage. Ranvi and Gunjan find out that Veera is the daughter of Sampooran and Amrita. Gunjan takes advantage of this matter and informs Veera about the truth. Veera is shocked on knowing this and starts to cry. Baldev consoles her.

Veera know that her house is up for auction. She tells Chai Ji she has found out the truth and tries to make a plan on opening a school on the fields of what was Ranvi and Sampooran's dream.

Gunjan iss trapped by a film director and Ranvi saves her but people misunderstand Ranvi. Balwant, Gunjan's father gets a heart attack because of this. After knowing the truth that Ranvi iss innocent he requests Ranvi to marry Gunjan. Veera and Baldev unite Ranvi and Gunjan after many attempts. Veera comes to know about Ranvi's singing talent and makes him sing for an album. Meanwhile, Veera and Baldev go to Poland to learn new techniques in farming from a Mr. Neal. After going to Poland, they came to know Mr. Neal is Nihaal Singh, Veera's paternal uncle. He taught all the techniques to them. In Poland, Baldev helped Veera and took care of her. After returning to India, Veera realises her feelings for Baldev, and tries to convey it to Baldev. After so many failures she tells Baldev that she loves him. Veera and Baldev decide to bring Nihaal to India and convince Ranvi to accept Nihaal. Ranvi gets the chance to participate in a music competition. After, they went to Mumbai and at the finals, Ranvi is kidnapped by a finalist and then is saved by Baldev. He eventually wins the competition while Gunjan is happy by her life in Mumbai and doesn't want to return to Pritampura, but Ranvi denies it. After returning he comes to know about Veera and Baldev's relationship. He gets furious and denies to give away Veera to Baldev.

Baldev and Veera tried to convince Ranvi. But, meanwhile Ranvi is trapped in an alcohol case by Rajveer, the corrupt police inspector who loves Veera, who blames Baldev for it. Veera slaps Baldev for sending her brother to prison but she comes to know that Baldev is innocent and apologises to Baldev. But then Baldev breaks his relationship with Veera for not trusting him and in the spur of the moment, Baldev agrees to marry Simran, a cheat who comes to live with her mother at Baldev's house. Veera is distraught upon hearing this while preparations are going for wedding. Veera came to know about Simran's boyfriend and to prove that Simran was a betrayer, Veera participates in Baldev's wedding ceremonies and finally succeeds in breaking up Baldev's wedding by introducing Simran's boyfriend at the henna ceremony. Veera and Baldev later re-unite, however Rajveer succeeds in getting Baldev battered, because of jealousy issues. Veera, with Baldev's friends Jaggi and Billa rescue Baldev from Rajveer's hired goons. They take Baldev to the hospital and due to Veera's care and love Baldev recovers from his injury and asks Veera to take him to Ranvi. Baldev promises Ranvi that he would take care of Veera and asks Ranvi for Veera's hand in marriage he claims with folded hands that he would love and keep her happy throughout his life.
