Harduaganj (Hindi: हरदुआगंज) is a town and a nagar panchayat in Aligarh district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It also is home to the 500 MW Harduaganj Thermal Power Station.[1]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[2] Harduaganj had a population of 11,564. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Harduaganj has an average literacy rate of 49%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 55%, and female literacy is 42%. In Harduaganj, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
