Hansō Sōshitsu
In this Japanese name, the family name is Hansō.
Hansō Sōshitsu (汎叟宗室, born April 19, 1923), also known as Sen Genshitsu or Sen Sōshitsu XV (十五代目千宗室), is the 15th in a series of Japanese tea masters of the Urasenke family.[1]
He is a member of the representative committee of the openly revisionist lobby Nippon Kaigi.[2]
Lineage
Sen Sōshitsu is the name of the head (iemoto) of the Urasenke school of the Japanese tea ceremony.
The first person in this line of the Sen family to use the name Sōshitsu was the youngest son of Sen Sōtan. He was a great-grandson of Sen Rikyū.
