Hal Lester is an American jazz and rock lead guitarist.

Biography

Born in Brooklyn, New York), Lester grew up in Massapequa, New York, and honed his skills with future Grammy and Na Hoku Hanohano Awards winner, Dave Tucciarone. he then studied music at the famed Berklee College of Music.

Lester played, recorded, toured and produced many famous bands. He also has created many magazine and CD covers around the world.[1][2][3] Hal has also produced arranged and recorded with Pat Caddick.,[4] Wayne Newton and Danny Gans. He has also played with Scott Freilich, who was bass player for Ani Difranco on her [5] Puddle Dive CD.

Lester's latest projects include a new CD dedicated to his late father and the graphics for the cover/logo of Scott Freilich's band The Headers.[6] Lester's work has been displayed in the Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Lester has recently been awarded V.I.P. Head Adviser Membership Acknowledgment Status Award by MylesPaul forum.
