The HSC-1 Makedon is a long-range, air-to-ground missile developed by BSK Defense in 2010.
History
The development of the missile began in 2009 at the BSK Defense headquarters in Chania, Crete as a top secret project. The air-to-air and air-to-ground variants are set to be produced in 2015 and the completion of the development is expected to be in Q4 2014. The surface-to-air variant will be produced in 2018 with the team expecting the completion of the development of the navy missile to be in Q4 2017. The missile is also being developed by other Greek defense companies and the Hellenic Air Force in cooperation with BSK Defence.
