Gulwal
Gulwal is a branch of the Suleiman Khel subgroup of the Pashtun people. They live in western Afghanistan, South Waziristan, and in Punjab, India. The Gulwal have subbranches such as Pachak, Azikkhel, and Ashiqkhel. They are not affected too much by modernisation. Their literacy rate is very low, but is increasing. The group has its own customs and culture. They are Sunni Muslims.
