Grzegorz Kacala was a professional rugby player. He was born on 15 March 1966. His position was in the back row, usually Number 8. He is the only Polish player to have been on a Heineken Cup winning team, in 1997. He did so with CA Brive. He was named Man of the match in the final against Leicester RFC.[1] He currently coaches in Poland at Lechie Gdańsk (2009/2010).[2] He also played with Cardiff RFC. He started his professional career in the Polish League.
