Green Flash Brewing Co. is a craft brewery headquartered in the Mira Mesa neighborhood of San Diego, California. It was founded by Mike and Lisa Hinkley in 2002 in Carlsbad, California[1] before moving to its San Diego location in May 2011.[2] As of 2014 it was the fourth largest brewery in San Diego County and the 48th largest craft brewery in the United States, based on sales volume.[3]
The Mira Mesa location has a capacity of 45,000 barrels per year. The beer is distributed in seventeen states.[4]
The brewery's Stout won a silver medal at the 2010 World Beer Cup.[4]

Collaborations
In 2011, Green Flash collaborated with Stone Brewing Company of Escondido and the Carlsbad location of Pizza Port restaurant to brew and release Highway 78 Scotch Ale, named for California State Highway 78 that links Vista and the other two cities.[5]
