The Greater Antillean bullfinch (Loxigilla violacea) is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae. It is found in The Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, and Turks and Caicos Islands. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest.
