The great Inca finch (Incaspiza pulchra) is a species of bird traditionally placed in the Emberizidae family, but it may be more closely related to the Thraupidae. Its current family status is incertae sedis. It is endemic to Peru.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland.
