Govind Singh Dotasra is a member of 14th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and member of Public Accounts Committee of Rajasthan 2015-16.[1] He represent the Laxmangarh constituency of sikar district of Rajasthan. He is a member of the Indian National Congress.

He is Vice President of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC).[2] He also holds the post of district congress president of Sikar, Rajasthan. In 2014 he was appointed as Deputy Whip in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly by Indian National Congress.[3][4]

Biography

Govind Singh Dotasra born on 1 October 1964 in a village Kripa Ram Ji Ki Dhani, Sutod, Laxmangarh in Sikar District of Rajasthan. He born in a purely non political family of Late Sri Mohan Singh Dotasra and Rupi Devi.[5]

Political journey

  1. He was a member of the 13th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from 2008 to 2013 in Ashok Gehlot Government List of members of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (13th house).
  2. He was a member of Committee on Estimates "A" (2009-2010) in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly
  3. In 2005 he was elected as a Pradhan of Panchyat Samiti Laxmangarh, Sikar.[6]
  4. Since July 2011 he is working as a President of District Congress Committee, Sikar, Rajasthan.
  5. He is an active member of Indian National Congress Since 1981.

Other Activities

  1. He represented Rajasthan in 24th Commonwealth Parliamentary Seminar 27 May to 1 June 2013 in Singapore.
  2. He Participated in 16th All India Whip Conference, Goa as a chief whips of INC from Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in October 2014.
  3. He Participated in 17th All India Whip Conference, Visakhapatnam, A.P. as a chief whips of INC from Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in September 2015.
