Good360 is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization located in Alexandria, Virginia. The organization's mission is to help companies donate excess merchandise to charities instead of destroying it.[2][3] At the end of 2014, it was ranked the 33rd largest charity in the United States by Forbes Magazine.[4]

Organization

The organization, founded in 1983, was known as Gifts In Kind.[5] In 2011 the organization became known as Good360.[6] Good360 is the fifty-second largest charity in America, according to the Chronicle of Philanthropy. The organization generated and placed nearly $900 million in product donations in 2006. Good360 receives donations from thousands of large and small companies, including Fortune 100 technology, retail and consumer corporations. Good360 distributes these donations to more than 30,000 community charities across the United States and throughout the world.

Good360 is acknowledged as one of the most cost-efficient charities by Forbes magazine. In 2006, it operated on 0.3 percent of the fair market value of its donations - meaning 99.7 percent of all donations went directly to the organization's charitable recipients.

Charity Navigator gave Good360 a four-star rating for six consecutive years.

In April 2012, Carly Fiorina became chairman of the organization. Fiorina replaced Gail Aldrich, who spent nine years with Good360.[6]
