Goniaeolis typica is a species of sea slug, a nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Goniaeolididae.[2] The synonymy with Goniaeolis lobata and the anatomy are discussed in detail by Odhner in 1922.[3]

Distribution

This species was described from Kristiansund, Norway. It has subsequently been reported from the Skagerrak,[4] the Hardangerfjord,[5] and at the mouth of the Trondheimsfjord.[6] The species is known from 30 to 666 m.[7]
