The Golden Rockets are a junior 'B' ice hockey team based in Golden, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Eddie Mountain Division of the Kootenay Conference of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL). The Rockets play their home games at Golden Arena. Curt Thorne is the team's president, Ty Davidson is the general manager and coach. They are captained by Brett Defrias.

The Rockets joined the league in 1991 as an expansion team. In its KIJHL history, the team has won one division playoff title as a member of the Eddie Mountain Division from 1996-2013.

History

From 1991-2005, the team was known as the Golden Rockets. For the 2005-06 season, the team was known as the Golden Extreme. They were then known as the Golden Jets for the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons. As The Jets, they were owned by the WHA Corp. From 2008–present the team again is called the Golden Rockets.
