GoalNepal.com is the largest independent football website in Nepal,[4] with 2 language editions with several reporters in different countries. GoalNepal.com provides readers with news, live scores, match previews, and editorials. GoalNepal.com is also available on multiple platforms.[5][6] Moreover, the site plays an active role in social awareness by facilitating charitable campaigns.[7][8][9][10]
Prior to GoalNepal, the precursor to the site, SoccerageNepal.com.np was inevitably closed in March 2013[11] after numerous DDoS attacks, despite its popularity.
Features
Match coverage
GoalNepal.com provides live commentary, reports, reactions, and player ratings for the majority of the top domestic Nepalese leagues such as the Martyr's Memorial League, and Ncell Cup. As well as the AFC President's Cup, minor foreign tournaments,[12] and several other international competitions.
GoalNepal.com Nepali
In 2010, GoalNepal.com Nepali was launched, which specialised in football news in the Nepali language exclusively. However, for unknown reasons the service closed. It wasn't until 2012, that CEO Bikram Thapa relaunched the Nepali version of GoalNepal.com.[13]
