Globe's network is considered the first and biggest 2.5 GHz WiMAX (802.16e) broadband network in South East Asia. It is first in the Philippines to commercially launch a consumer WiMAX offering. Currently, Globe has around sixty thousand subscribers on its LTE & WiMAX network, after only a few weeks. The service is initially available in selected areas in South Luzon, Metro Manila, Visayas and Mindanao. Globe continues to roll out WiMAX sites, as a complement to its existing DSL and 3G Internet facilities, to ensure the Internet gets to every Filipino who needs it. Globe is providing WiMAX to selected local community government offices in Cavite, Batangas and Cagayan de Oro City. Globe is also providing Internet access via WiMAX to selected schools and city hospitals in Mindanao as part of its thrust of community service to the marginalized areas.
Globe has been expanding its wireless broadband network to accommodate the increasing demand for the Internet. In 2009, Globe introduced Globe Tattoo and Tattoo at Home broadband powered by WiMAX (Worldwide interoperability for Microwave Access). In June 2009, the company launched hyper-speed plans via fiber-to-the-home technology.
Globe brought iPhone 3G to the Philippines on August 22, 2008.
With Globe Tattoo, users can experience speeds of up to 12 megs/s and 42 megs/s, delivered via 3G High-Speed Packet Access+ (HSPA+) and/or 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) technologies respectively (where service is available).
In addition, most Globe Tattoo at Home plans are bundled with unlimited Globe/TM calls as well as unlimited landline calls to the same area code where the service is installed (e.g. If the service is installed in Metro Manila with area code 02 users can call a landline so as long as the telephone number also starts at 02 prefix)

GoSurf is a consumable volume-based internet offer which is available for both Postpaid and Prepaid subscribers. It was the company's answer to the fast-rising market of heavy internet usage in the Philippines. Without worrying about the cap or internet speed being throttled to 2G subscriber can browse, download, stream and do heavy internet activities knowing that it counts either per megabytes or per gigabyte charging depending on the subscription availed by the user. Unlike SuperSurf since this is consumable by nature it's not covered by the company's Fair Usage Policy (FUP) so there's no threat of getting internet speeds throttled from either 3G/4G to default 2G speeds. Prepaid Subscribers has a lot of denominations to choose from. For as low as 10 pesos subscriber can enjoy 40 megabytes of volume allowance valid for a day. Though denominations are somehow similar to what's being offered to Postpaid subscribers the difference is Prepaid has lower denominations such 10, 15, 30 & 50 unlike Postpaid that starts at 99 pesos charged to monthly bill. For Postpaid subscribers plans starts at 100 megabytes for 99 pesos (not available as standalone plan but as an add-on top up for existing postpaid plan such as the myLifestyle Plan). Followed by 3 gigabytes for 499 pesos, 5 gigabytes for 999 pesos, 10 gigabytes for 1,799 pesos & lastly 15 gigabytes for 2,499.
