Project's History
«Glavnaya Stsena» — this is not the first time since Russia tries to adopt the British version of The X Factor. In 2005—2007, in Russia had existed the relative project Sekret Uspekha.[3][4] «Sekret Uspekha» had 2 seasons, however it was not as popular or highly rated compared to «Fabrika Zvezd», which lead to the project's closing in 2007. In 2011-2013, he new Russian version of X Factor had formed:Faktor A[5] (this was called with the first letter of the main judge and famous Russian singer Alla Pugacheva).[6] All versions of X Factor in Russia were translated in «Russia-1».
The rules of Glavnaya Stsena are quite simple: in each episode of the show, the participants perform, trying to bring feelings and persuade to the public. Who will go through, and who is going to leave, this is the decision of the judges.
In the first season, passed 10000 candidates, but to the main scene passed only 75 singers, groups and bands.
During all the season the participants will perform to the judges, until there is one of them remaining. And he is going to be the project's winner and will get the main prize - personal tour in Russia.[7]
First Season
The casting began in Moscow in December, 2014. In the auditions took part 10 thousand participants, but only 150 people had passed to the public auditions. The best 75 participants performed for the public in the main Moscow's cremlin main stage, among the public which have been a number of famous artists including the participants of The Voice Russia and famous producers.
The first translation began on 30 January 2015 in Russia-1. The judges were Walter Afanasieff, Zhana Rozhdestvenskaya, Yuri Antonov and Sergey Chigrakov.[8]
The judgers-producers of the project were: Walter Afanasieff, Victor Drobish, Igor Matvienko, Konstantin Meladze and Maxim Fadeev.[9]
The Super-Final had occurred on 17 April 2015 in the same Moscow's Cremlin Main Stage . That was a live show in Russia-1 at 21:00 O'clock of Moscow time. Following the votes, the winner was a representative of Uzbekistan - Sardor Milano.[10]

Judgement Auditions (1 & 3 stages)
Following the words of the organisators of Glavnaya Scena - one of the biggest projects in Russian Television, competing The Voice Russia. In the auditions took part more than 10000 participants of different ages, professions and nationalities. Alas, from that tremendous casting, passed only 150 participants. The participants were participating under the different numbers. Then, own views were saying the judges, saying to he participant "yes" or "no". If three of four judges said "no", then the participant leaves the project, but sometimes the producer may say his own word if he wishes to do so, which saves the participant from leaving. If it is opposite, then the participant passes to the next stage. If it is half-half, then the decision is going to the judges-producers.
Teams and genres (3-5 stages)
Each judge-producer chooses the participants with five musical genres [13]
- Walter Afanasieff & Elena Kiper — vocal style soul.
- Victor Drobish & Stas Piekha — pop-rock and rock.
- Igor Matvienko & Antony Belyaev — funk, ethnic & jazz-fusion.
- Konstantin Meladze & Evgeny Orlov — neo-classic.
- Maxim Fadeev & Oleg Nekrasov — Indigo.
